Heh, the hell with it, I have nothing better to report.
The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication will be hosting the 4th German Language Speech Contest for German language students at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Details of the event are as follows:
Date: 16 August 2006 (Wednesday)
Time: 8.30 am - 4 pm
Place: Conference Hall IDEAL, Universiti Putra Malaysia
The primary purposes of this contest are to promote communication skills of students who study German as a foreign language, to increase awareness of the German language, to boost students’ self confidence in mastering the language, and to encourage interaction among speakers of German in Malaysia, because there are not a lot of opportunities to speak German outside the classroom in Malaysia.Hehehehe…My German lecturer wanted me to join this competition and I’m stoked that he chose me. Muahahaha. This is going to be so much fun. I’ll be the new Hitler. Hehehe… Imagine me dressed up like Hitler and giving a speech in German. That is so going to piss off the German judges…
Errmmm…I think that’s all, chow!
p/s: Once I get myself a camera, I’ll post more update(s), ok…?
Man this took awhile to do.
But since I'm free, why not, right?
I changed the template. I took one that was already complete, and did some alterations to it (Credits can be seen at the bottom). Was changing and experimenting for two hours. Damn sad. This is the final result. Not so good. I wish I was an expert in html.
Oh and photoshop.
The header was also done by yours truly. Not a very good job either, but at least there's one for the meantime.
Where are you guys! Update!
anyways. sorry for deleting the previous entries (even though i'm sure you haven't noticed).
why not i talk a bit about my life the past few weeks.
i guess what most people want to hear from me is prom.
yeaah. prom. sounds like something the americans do. from what i've heard they have like 3 a year? ahah wat a nice time for tailors and designers.
i guess prom fever starts before it actually happens and ends after it's over. and no, it is
so not within 24 hours.
prom at an international school is kinda different from the ordinary proms held by colleges i guess. from what i've heard. so yeah. firstly, it's definitely more costly than anything else.
prom starts 3 weeks before the actually day (or was it a month?) it starts with the "will you go to prom with me?" and the who's going with who fuss. then people start discussing dresses, hotel bookings, payment, no payment, alcohol, previous prom, who's back for prom, make up, hair appointments. the usual, "oh who's your tailor and can he do it for me too". "you spent 1000 on you dress!!" "which hairstyle suits me best?" "which shop did you get that from".
somehow in all that talk, the guys seem less enthuiastic than the girls (duh). prom comes nearer. people talk more about it. and soon it kinda becomes sickening to the stomach. yeah. all the pressure man. who wouldn't feel sick. actually it's no pressure, but to me it is lah. all these stupid unnecessary stuff like make up.
so prom was at mandarin oriental, diamond ballroom (yes i know, it's so not cheap) but truth to be told, it was so worthit. yes it was. it' was like a formal dinner except instead of with your parents, you're with your friends. and it's a bit more fun la. everyone's snapping pictures everywhere, so you just see flashes.
and yes the natural prom prince princess queen n king.
there was some dancing going on towards the end and people started leaving at 11 something.
it so does not end there. duh. AFTER PARTY!
yeah that was the highlight of prom. espanda was the place. free flow was the keyword. and yes it cost me 120. uhuh.
i know. what a bomb. but hey, it's an experience, so why not? at the after party. people just become someone else. and the next moment, you don't even know who you're making out with. hahaha it's just the drinks getting to them. it's kinda scary when you wake up the next morning and go, "oh no". and being the very sensible me. ehem. i did no such thing. ahaha
loads of dancing. yeaaaa it was cool. one of the year 13s started to rap and it was cool.
did i mention people drink? yes, and a lot. did i mention people got drunk? yes, and a lot. did i mention people made out? yes, and a lot. did i mention people were dirty dancing? yes, and a lot.haha.
i feel that staring can be rude. so i tried my very best not to. actually i didn't stare at all. i expected that much from an after party. so i left around 3am and i guess some people started to leave around that time too. so things were less wild at that time? no? i think not.
well that's my short version of prom. and no, i will not bore you with the details. but if you have any questions i'm sure you know where to find me. :)
summer break just started for me and it's been kinda nice. everyone was really having a nice time in school on friday, cheering the last minutes of school on.
we had talent quest on wed and presentation assembly on thurs. talent quest was good. there was some "liquid" dancing (i'm not really sure what it was called) and a guy who sang for you i will - teddy geiger. he seriously was very close to the original. and there was a band who payed hotel california and did a great job of it.
sorry for not posting any pics, i'm using another com.
night all!
No, I'm not pointing fingers at everyone of you for not turning up.Hehhe... It was great fun. Yeah... Hehehe....
Hohoho, actually two really cute girls from the Al-Mashoor Perempuan Editorial Board came to me for an interview which will be in their magazine later this year. And of course, I ‘interviewed’ them in return.
The finals for the competition will be held tomorrow but unfortunately I can’t make it because my bus to Shah Alam will start moving at 11.00am.
Oh yea, I’m really sorry for not being able to see any of you Penang people. After the competition I had to go the clinic to stitch up a wound on my leg and I had to do some ‘makan-makan’ with my family at night.
By the way, Shah Alam rocks… so far. A bit busy but quite enjoying.
Isn't that ironic. The names here are exactly the same nicknames we have for the side there. Heh.
Well, we're still the three that have not started studying yet. And yeah. This is what we do.
"this is not goodbye its see you soon" - I never got to eat the cake. Tho i really want to, seriously. Because i had absolutely no time that day. And ever since that day I've been travelling all over the place, absolutely no time for anything else either.
anyway, for the people who know me, you probably know that I am quite the protected blog person. i rarely ever have a point to prove to the rest of the world, i do not love the limelight and i am not a social person. in fact, i am not even nice, i bore myself even.
But this is HELLO. i'm still alive.
and for those who miss me, i miss you too.
i havent had the time to read emails, blogs, testimos and all that stuff. so.
i'll be a little late.
if i'm meant to write about college and stuff. i don't have time right now. so maybe later. cya.
Wah.... 14 contributors...
Yo! Amir here, checking in.
Hahaha, I'm INTEC, UiTM right now, doing my German A-Levels under JPA scholarship.
::The People::I'll start with the people I've met in this institution. People here are cool and friendly. Cooler than I expected. Actually... wa~~~y cooler than I expected. A friend of mine once told me that I'll be hanging around with all the 'budak-budak skema' but that wasn't the case at all. Hahaha, In fact, I think I'm the most skema of all the students here. Shit, I need to boost up my coolness level.
HHmmm... Maybe when I manage to bring/borrow a camera I'll post their pictures and names here.
::The Pleasurable 'Torment'::Orientation isn't exactly my favourite activity. I went from, active and friendly on the first day to passive and grumpy on the last day. Why? Well, maybe because I was tired. I had to eat crappy but FREE ^_^ food during the orientation week and sleep for four hours three nights in a row. Yeah, it doesn't sound so extreme but I have to say, doing 'senamrobik' in formal attire isn't a refreshing thing to do.
Fortunately, the excruciating orientation week is over for me and right now I'm raping the internet bandwidth.
Here's a picture I drew just now with Paint.
::The Luxury::Oh yeah, there's free broadband connection in my college. And very few people know about it, so SHHHH!!!! Don't tell anyone! The free internet connection is probably the only good thing we, students of Cendana College have. And a few other friends and I are keeping it as a little secret because, errmmm… it’s fun to not share. =)
::The Absence of Pictures::Pictures.... This laptop doesn't have bluetooth (yea... bummer... =( ) so I won't be able to post any pictures for now.
::The End::You guys can expect me to post more useless crap-o-la here. So stay tuned! Chowz ;-)!

So. Stop talking to us about cramps. *winks at one
Sorry am bored :D took this from an online webcomic.
