Well now that I've come back I see at least one NEW post and several tags at the side, which is good, since, ... I thought this place was dead...

Holy crap my brother was correct all along!! I’m talking about earphones. Do you know that you can actually record sounds with those things? Yes, you can actually RECORD SOUNDS with those earwax collectors!



Isn’t this just a moment of history? Now earphones can do more than just screwing into your ear holes and transfer sound waves. They can receive sound waves and turn them into digital signals which can be saved in a normal computer! Awesome! Here’s how I did it.

Plug my earphones into the MICROPHONE hole



Speak to both of the earphones and of course, start recording!



Record with Audacity

The sound produced is pretty soft so you might want to amplify it with the software you're using. In my case, Audacity. Ain’t that flipping awesome!?!??!?!!! I bet you can already see how this unknown capability would come in handy. Hahhahahha!!! This is so awesome!

By the way, according to my brother, he got this info from either Youtube or Digg, I can’t find the original article but if you do please be kind enough to submit the link through your comments.

School has been very hectic for me. Hence, the disappearing. But holidays are up now, so is Raya! Unfortunately, some of us will not be celebrating it in Malaysia, having to attend classes from early morning til late evening/night. It won't be the same ol' same ol'. Even if I host an open house this year, it'd not be the same like the previous years.

Therefore, being separated by the distance, I'd still like to wish each and everyone of you..

Sorry for any of my wrong doings during the years we met. The miss understandings (if there was any) and the silly remarks I always make, the hurtful yet significant pinching(s) (I know some of you find pleasure in it though :P). I am sorry.

Nevertheless, I hope that all of you will have yet another wonderful Raya. Make it extra meaningful this year, reminisce the days when you guys had it in good ol' Malaysia. The ketupat, the rendang, the lontong, the lemang, and the various raya cookies. But most of all, don't forget to have a blast on that day, WHEREVER you are.

The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication will be hosting the 4th German Language Speech Contest for German language students at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Details of the event are as follows:

Date: 16 August 2006 (Wednesday)
Time: 8.30 am - 4 pm
Place: Conference Hall IDEAL, Universiti Putra Malaysia

The primary purposes of this contest are to promote communication skills of students who study German as a foreign language, to increase awareness of the German language, to boost students’ self confidence in mastering the language, and to encourage interaction among speakers of German in Malaysia, because there are not a lot of opportunities to speak German outside the classroom in Malaysia.

Hehehehe…My German lecturer wanted me to join this competition and I’m stoked that he chose me. Muahahaha. This is going to be so much fun. I’ll be the new Hitler. Hehehe… Imagine me dressed up like Hitler and giving a speech in German. That is so going to piss off the German judges…

Errmmm…I think that’s all, chow!
